Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Ali Redhauddin ibni Tuanku Muhriz
Yang Amat Mulia (YAM) Tunku Ali Redhauddin ibni Tuanku Muhriz was appointed as Chairman of Cancer Research Malaysia, effective June 2022. YAM Tunku Ali is Tunku Besar Seri Menanti of Negeri Sembilan. He divides his time between official duties, non-profit entities and corporate boards.
He is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Munarah Foundation, Chairman and Founding Trustee of Teach for Malaysia, President of WWF-Malaysia and a Trustee of Amanah Warisan Negara. He is also Pro-Chancellor of University Sains Islam Malaysia.
YAM Tunku Ali is Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad (Astro), and Independent Chairman Taliworks Corporation Berhad. He also sits on the boards of Bangkok Bank Berhad, CVS KL (a heart hospital), Columbia Asia Hospitals, Pathology Asia Holdings as well as several other boards in various fields, including education. He is also Senior Advisor to TPG Capital and a Partner at Vynn Capital.
Tunku Ali holds a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from the John F Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and a BA (Hons) in History and Social & Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
